Winter Frost In A Globe

Description

Some nights the snow globe on the windowsill doesn’t need shaking.

He came down for a glass of water and stopped cold. Outside, frost had grown ferns across the glass and the pines stood blue in the dark. But the light was coming from inside the globe. The little houses had their windows lit. Snow was swirling all on its own. And on the frozen pond, three tiny skaters were going round and round, laughing, as if they’d been waiting all year for someone to notice.

He doesn’t say a word. He just leans closer and watches his breath turn to fog, hoping they don’t stop.

Winter Frost in a Globe is a Crafty Corner Originals™ piece painted in deep winter blues and warm candle gold, with fine detail in every frost crystal, every cottage window and every stitch of the knit hat and scarf. The glow of the globe pulls your eye from his wide-open face straight into the little world under glass.

It’s made for the holiday season and beyond: a living room, a child’s room, a cozy reading corner or a winter mantel display.
