Aloha From The Dashboard

Description

Every road trip has a mascot, and this one never misses a sunset.

She’s been riding on this dashboard since the car was new, a little hula dancer with a plumeria in her hair and a lei that slid off somewhere around the third state line. The gauges have gone soft and amber with age. The fuel needle says full. The temperature sits right in the middle. And out past the windshield, the drive-in is lighting up: swooping rooftops, starburst signs, a silver rocket pointed at a pink and peach sky, and a row of long, gleaming cars waiting for the show.

She just keeps dancing, the way she always has, as if every evening is the best one yet.

Aloha from the Dashboard is a Crafty Corner Originals™ piece painted in a rich, textured oil style, all weathered teal metal, chrome rings, warm wood and glowing sunset light. Every needle and knob is lovingly detailed, and the space-age skyline outside pulls the whole scene back to the golden age of cruising.

It belongs in a garage, a den, a retro kitchen or a tiki bar, or with anyone who still remembers the joy of a long drive and a good radio station.
