Astrelune vs Voltarach

Price range: $38.00 through $2,372.00

Above a shattered bridge, Astrelune shapes starlight into luminous forms to confront Voltarach, whose Ruin Dynamo turns destruction into power. As the city crumbles beneath them, she must stop the devastation feeding his machine.

Description

ASTRELUNE was changed when an experimental astronomical observatory captured something its instruments were never designed to receive: physical particles arriving from points in the night sky where no stars existed. The exposure left microscopic pockets of artificial night embedded throughout her body. Through an ability she calls Starwelding, Astrelune can open those pockets and join their stored points of light into temporary structures—threads, barriers, bursts, or luminous extensions that behave like constellations given physical form.
VOLTARACH built himself rather than being transformed. Once an engineer obsessed with making human strength independent of biology, he constructed an armored body around a forbidden power system known as the Ruin Dynamo. The machine feeds on structural failure: impacts, fractures, collapsing buildings, and breaking machinery produce energy that the armor captures and converts into increasingly powerful electrical discharges. Destruction doesn’t merely surround Voltarach. It fuels him.
Their battle has already torn through the city by the time this moment is captured.
Astrelune launches herself above the remains of a shattered bridge, her black armor appearing almost transparent beneath hundreds of brilliant star-like fractures. A concentrated point of white-blue light burns within her extended hand while sweeping ribbons of gold curl behind her, crossing broken solar structures and debris suspended throughout the storm.
Voltarach descends from the opposite direction like a piece of heavy artillery given human form. Layers of battered crimson armor encase his enormous frame. Blue energy burns from his chest and helmet while one weaponized arm gathers a concentrated discharge. Electricity erupts around his opposite fist, and brilliant exhaust pours from the propulsion system carrying him over the ruined span.
Below them, the bridge has been ripped open. Concrete slabs tumble toward the river, reinforcing steel hangs exposed, fires burn among the wreckage, and pieces of the city remain caught between gravity and the violence of the confrontation. Above, lightning cuts through immense storm clouds as both figures close the final distance.
The destruction creates a terrible advantage: every piece of the bridge that falls makes Voltarach stronger.
Astrelune therefore has only moments to do something far more difficult than defeating him.
She has to stop the city from breaking.
