Description
At the edge of the imaginable, Beacon Beyond the Stars transforms the familiar lighthouse into a guardian of an extraordinary cosmic sea. An ancient stone tower rises from a fractured island of rock while its brilliant beacon cuts through a vast celestial sky filled with stars, luminous nebulae, and swirling galaxies.
Below, the ocean itself appears to merge with the universe. Waves of deep blue, turquoise, violet, and magenta curl around the isolated rock, shimmering with starlight as though the boundaries between water and space have disappeared. Suspended stone and crystalline details add to the surreal landscape, creating a world governed more by imagination than gravity.
Beacon Beyond the Stars explores the lighthouse as a symbol of guidance in the ultimate unknown—a solitary light shining where ocean, earth, and cosmos become one.
Somebody has to keep the lamp lit at the edge of the map, and for four hundred years that somebody has been Ottoline. Ships don't pass her island anymore. Comets do. They come out of the purple dark with their tails tangled and their orbits half forgotten, and they follow her beam back toward the inner sky like tired swimmers making for shore. Most nights are quiet. She polishes the lens, sweeps stardust off the steps, and waves at the occasional drifting boulder. But once a century or so, something enormous and very old comes swimming out of the nebula, blinks at the light, and turns around. Ottoline has never learned what it is. She keeps the lamp burning anyway.
