Description
Every builder has the one bike they’ll never sell.
This one took three winters. The frame came from a swap meet, the springer front end from a friend’s barn, and the engine got torn down and rebuilt twice before it ran right. But the paint took the longest. Golden koi swimming upstream through navy waves and tongues of flame, with a scatter of cherry blossoms where the water breaks. Koi climb the current no matter how hard it pushes. That felt about right.
Now it sits in the low light of the shop, chrome bars reaching high, leather seat broken in just so, waiting for the next clear road.
The Koi Keeper’s Chopper is a Crafty Corner Originalsâ„¢ piece painted with rich, textured strokes: polished chrome and warm copper against a deep charcoal background traced with traditional wave patterns. Every fin, spoke and cooling fin rewards a closer look.
It belongs in a garage, a den, a man cave, a workshop or a rider’s living room, anywhere that respects good iron and good art.
